It’s day three of rain and fog, and it’s beautiful. Misty, subtle color saturation, and soooo much green. I never know how long this part of Spring will last. My garden loves it and so do I.
It sets me to thinking about art, image making, new perfumes, and setting my heart free. Lately there has been so much busy-ness, travel, and so much to do. The sound of the rain and the feel of the mist make me want to slow down and….dream.
Gosh, we’ve had weeks of rain here in MD and unfortunately I’m failing to see the beauty in it like you are. 🙂 But it’s not misty and green here, it’s just cold and gray. My garden, the plum/fig/apple trees don’t seem to mind – but my poor meyer lemon tree is probably getting root rot, but it’s so wet I don’t want to bring it back in the house…
Anyhow, your photos are gorgeous and I’m glad you’re inspired!
Hi, Sun Mi~
Thank you so much for stopping by and commenting. You know, it’s only been about 3 to 4 days of rain here. I think that I would be a lot less inspired if it had been weeks…! I’m quite ready for some serious warm sun (it will blast into summer heat in no time here) and I’m ready for that, too. My flowers are really loving the moisture and the roses are just starting to bloom. I hope that your meyer lemon recovers OK ( I LOVE them and tried to grow a tree indoors here but it just didn’t like it and up and died ) and it’s blossoms will be heaven in a little while. 🙂
I’m glad you like the photos and I hope to have some paintings (or at least sketches) to post soon. Fragrant hugs from Boulder~~~ D
